PRESIDENCY: ON THE 1% ACHIEVEMENT

Concerning the campaign promise achievement, the special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu has tried the best he can to convince Nigerians that some of  the campaign promises listed by the Centre for Democracy and Development  were not made by Mr president; the issue however, is the question pertaining  to the number of campaign promise that Mr president has achieved…
According to MISSPETITENIGERIA,

The Presidency has responded to reports President Muhammadu Buhari has achieved only one of his 222 tracked electoral promises .
The Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, while reacting to the recent report by the Centre for Democracy and Development, said it was mischievous to attribute to the President promises he did not make during the campaigns and hold him accountable.
The presidential spokesman  said
“It is very mischievous to attribute to the president promises he didn’t make during the campaign, and now hold him accountable for them.
“The latest CDD episode is a shocking reminder to their failed attempt to hold the president to ‘one hundred promises in one hundred days’ which disastrously crashed on the head of the proponent.
‘’The elevation of the act to a new high of 220 promises is a knee-jerk reaction that seeks to play to the gallery and score cheap points against the president. This is a clear case of solution looking for problem.”
To-date, a good number of persons believed to have collectively stolen billions from  taxpayers have been arrested, and are facing the courts. We are working with our allies across the world – from Britain and America to France and Germany; to China and UAE to source, locate and repatriate misappropriated funds. So far, an account has been opened for money that  is being returned"" “Doesn’t the President deserve credit for this and other efforts to confront the monster of corruption?”“He (Buhari) is making good strides towards improving governance by tackling corruption.
He added that the Nigerian Customs Service had quadrupled its revenue base to incredible level  within seven months, a feat that was impossible for years.

There are times when an outfit is athletic but can be worn leisurely…hence this athleisure look.  I am a huge fan of exciting and unique athletic gear that can be worn outside of the gym, so when I found these colorful “leggings” from ModCloth, I was immediately sold. Who knew my gym wear could be so fashionable!? When I paired them with this soft and stretchy hoodie, it became the perfect athleisure outfit.  This is a super comfy look for me to run errands in, relax while catching up on e-mails, or like now, working on blog posts at my favorite cafĂ© spot.
